Splashstar settled into her new nest. She was Waveclan's new leader. It would be hard and she new it. 'Oh Starclan, help me please,'thought Splashstar. A starry figure appeared next to Splashstar, it was her mother. "My darling, we will always help you when you need it most. We are always helping wheater you know it or not." she smiled down at her kit. The words reached no ears but Splashstar, only Splashstar knew the starry warrior was there. Her mother, Iceeyes, faded away, leaving a trace of her scent behind.

"Splashstar?" Autumnleaf peered into the leader's den. "I.. uh... Are you busy? I... I have been watching your clan for a few dawns, and I really like it here..." Autumnleaf looked up at her leader shyly. "I was wondering if I could join your clan? I don't know if I need to change my name, become a kit or an apprentice, but if you'll let me join, I'll follow you every step of the way..." Suddenly becoming very shy, she lay down and crossed her paws neatly before her, her amber eyes gleaming in the light. "I promise I'll do whatever it takes..." Autumnleaf trailed off, then looked hesitantly at Splashstar before getting to her paws. "I guess I should leave now?" She looked expectantly at Splashstar like a kit at her mother, her eyes filled with awe and wonder as she asked herself, "What am I doing? Splashstar would never want a cat as shy as me... I'm no braver than a kit!" Autumnleaf turned back around, sat up straight and looked at The WaveClan leader. "Can I join?"
